Magical Bridge Santa Clara

The Magical Bridge Foundation opened it's 9th park on August 28th, 2024 with a joyous celebration!

Located in Santa Clara at Central Park, this Magical Bridge Playground brings together community activities and inclusive design. Barbara's 2-story playhouse sits at the heart of the playground, providing a space for music and theater on the largest Magical Bridge theater stage we have built yet. Behind the stage are play areas for kids to let their imagination soar. Abigail's Angel Bakery features hand painted cakes and cash register, ready for aspiring bakers. Over at the Architect's workbench, tools of the trade are represented that will spark young designers and architects.

Upstairs, the cafe seating features a library with both hand painted books to delight and inspire and real books to read with your hot beverage. The upper story is accessible by ramps and bridges that connect to the upper walkway of the playground. 

The playhouse colors were chosen by the community to honor the Spanish Missions historic to the area. Of the three Retreat Hut's installed at the playground, two are in our original blue pallete and the one closest to the playhouse is stained in similar colors to match the warm brown tones of the playhouse.
